The plans on this page are links to boats that are intended to be motored.

This could be just a pleasure boat, or a boat that is going to be used for fishing or hunting.

• Selway-Fisher offers several versions of motor Boat Designs and Plans.
• Duckworks has many powerboat plans available, including some electric boats.
• Peeler Skiff powered Skiff from Chesapeake Light Craft. Plans or kit available. Stable fishing/crabbing boat.
• Glen-L has an extensive choice of models available Some power / row boats. Some lovely Runabouts and speed boats. They even have a mini tug.
• Free Plan for 2 sheet skiff have fun there are several other designs including the Portuguese dinghy. Can be rowed or powered with small motors
• Another free boat by Hannu's Boatyard. 2 plywood sheet skiff.
• Tango Skiff powered skiff comes in several sizes and models.
• Atkin Boats has many models Spend some time, there are dozens of designs. Some easy others very elaborate.
• John Welsford has several skiff design, this one can be sailed, motored or rowed.
• Tolman Skiffs offers a book with detailed instruction and plans for several sturdy fishing boats. 20-24 feet plywood stitch and glue.
• Jerico Bay Lobster Skiff is a beautiful strip planked boat, plans offered the the Wooden Boat Store
• Thomas J. Hill Boat Design has a Cape Cod Skiff Design with center Console.
• Goat Island Skiff Great sailing Skiff from Michael Storer, will motor nicely as well as being a competent row boat.
• Devlin Boat Design offers several models of boats, including cuck boats, shrimpers, fishing boats of many styles, hunting boats.

• Frugal Skiff Series from Shoestring Shipyard. Competent looking skiff can be rowed or powered. Designed for beginner boat builders.
• Portable Boat Plans has several easy to build boats. Ken Simpson has many designs. Many are powered, some can be folded or taken apart for easy transport.
• Swan Boat Design has a whole Flock of designs.
• Free Sea Skiff Old plans offered by DIY Wood Boat
• San Juan Dory from Nexus Marine. Looks more like a skiff than a dory really. Handsome fishing boat though.
• Chase Small Craft Compass 10 Skiff offers plans or kits. Just short of 10 feet long, easy to transport.
• Dudly Dix Yacht Design Many styles. This is a steel or aluminium "hardy metal workhorse."
• Simmons Sea Skiff from Cape Fear Museum. Large ocean fishing boat.
• Clark Craft Runabouts, Airboats, Bassboats and trailers as well as other styles.
• Jem Watercraft Mini Skiff can be rowed or powered.
