Photographs from Creemore near Georgian Bay,
and the Mad River Area
Creemore is just South of Georgian Bay in Gentle farming countryside. The sparkling little Mad River meanders on its way North.

Gentle contryside around Creemore and on the banks of the Mad River. Not so mad at this time of year, with less water because of a dry summer.
The woods are said to be home to bobcats and deer but all I saw were frogs and rabbits, or rather the white tail of a rabbit bouncing away.
I'm not sure why I was so happy to see frogs, maybe with all the talk of frogs dying off it was nice to see a thriving population.
A few spots had mysterious little paths leading to the woods from the river. Looked like muscrat or beaver trails.
Here and there people had made little dams to create swimming holes. They get washed out come spring when the Mad River is much fiercer and children ride down in inner tubes.
